Is Play Station 5 Worth It For Now?

Today I want to talk about PlayStation 5 and if it is worth it for the price you are paying as well as the very complicated procedure for buying it, at least in North America. There are many mixed opinions about this topic but as an old gamer who has tested many game consoles growing up, I want to share my own experience on this console with you. After months of waiting and turning on push notifications for Twitter accounts which announced lines for new PS5 around Canada, I finally managed to get one from Walmart. The first thing you have to keep in mind is that process of buying a PS5 for now is quite disturbing. Not only from time to time there are very few available stores with a very limited number of consoles, but also at the end you maybe have no choice to buy a bundle you may not like by heart. The same scenario happened to me, I got a bundle with an unwanted game but at least I was happy after a long wait now I have my console in my hand.

PlayStation 5 is an awesome and powerful machine. The rendering speed is phenomenal, and you can easily tell when you have to update a game it takes a lot less than the time you used to do it on a PS4. The resolution is amazing, the frame rate is out of this world, the controller has many developments that define the meaning of user-centred design. There are so many amazing things about the PlayStation 5, I can go on for days praising the console for days itself but the crucial question is what is a console without any games? There are many games that have been released since then, but there are very few true PlayStation 5 exclusives. There are differences between running the same games on PS4 and PS5 and for those who have a PS4, or a comparable gaming system, the good news is that you don’t really need a PS5 right now.

In conclusion, from my own personal experience with the console I can say If you consider yourself a serious gamer or you see yourself wanting to explore new generation consoles, while I don’t recommend dropping everything for a PS5 yet, the fact is that the PS4 is on the way out, and in the end, you have to update sooner or later.
