Warzone 2.0 is a Battle Royale game launched on November 16th. Several days ago, I won a game in Warzone 2.0 with my friend in duo mode. It’s my first win in Warzone 2.0. Today I will share my experience with this game.
First, there are many upgrades and changes from Warzone 1. I’ll pick some upgrades that changed the gameplay and experience.
- The New package/inventory system. In WZ2, every player has a backpack, you can put game objects in it, such as guns, ammo, and armour. In WZ1, players can carry 2 guns, limited ammo, 2 technical/lethal grenades, and armour plates, but everything changes with a new backpack system. Players who like to play aggressively can carry more armour plates and grenades; players who like to play defence on a rooftop can have more ammo or maybe an extra sniper rifle.
- Players are slower in WZ2. There is a thing called Slide-cancelling in WZ1, which is a trick or think of it as a loophole of the game. Gamers used it a lot, but only for seasoned players. And it is easier to use on a keyboard-mouse setting. I think this trick is not the developer’s intention to do, and it breaks the game balance. So in WZ2, they ditch it.
- More vehicles, ladders, and quick pathways in WZ2. This is also a significant change; it changes the game’s pace. Use vehicles to travel fast, and also, you can swim in WZ2. Along with short pathways and more ladders outside a tall building, the game pace is faster and smoother. These things give players more technical options. When you want to take out a group hiding on a rooftop, you can find a higher place, use a staircase and ladders to go up, or use a helicopter attack from above.
Secondly, the COD developer makes many optimizations for controllers. It is not Counter-strike; precision is not everything in COD. Now we can play COD cross-platform, which means Xbox, PlayStation, and pc players can play it together. Do not be afraid of mouse players. In particular, in Warzone, team strategy is more important. Find a good position, then assault enemies and always find shelter first. The team with the best snipers is not always won, but the winning team always has a better strategy, position, and a little luck. In conclusion, Warzone 2.0 is suitable for every level of gamer. And it is free to play. If you like FPS games, try Warzone 2.0 with your friends. No matter if you win or not, have fun.
