These comments seem mean and unbearable to me, and I couldn\u2019t help myself ruminating about them, which can affect my mood on a daily basis. Then teachers started to use textbook<br>methodologies, teaching me to be polite with others even though some of these \u201cothers\u201d are wrong. The advice asks me to act as if immune to the vitriol of haters, which is difficult to do.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These techniques don\u2019t help me deal with my strong feelings, my feeling hurt in the event. On the contrary, this can get me to become even more frustrated. I start to think, why do they deserve peace of mind and I don&#8217;t? \u201cA tit for tat\u201d has been my life motto for a long time.
