The saddest news is that Westworld was cancelled after season 4. This is the TV show that I have been watching since 2017, until season 4, in 2022. When I saw this news on Reddit, I couldn\u2019t believe it; it took me a while to accept the truth. I saw someone’s comments below: \u201d These HBO delights have violent ends.\u201d It\u2019s one of the most memorable phrases from Westworld’s<\/em> first season: \u201cThese violent delights have violent ends.\u201d It\u2019s the phrase spoken by the main characters multiple times throughout the series.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Westworld<\/em> <\/em>is an American science fiction western television series broadcast on HBO, based on the 1973 science fiction film of the same name, directed and written by American novelist Michael Crichton. Westworld series builds a vast world for the audience; in the future world, robots become the hosts of the Westworld park, and humans become the defaulting evil characters who dominate the hosts at will. From my point of view, season1 is mainly about the host’s self-awakening of consciousness; the director uses a different timeline to tell the story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to point out my favourite character in season 1, William. William is a tragic character. I don\u2019t think that the Man in Black is the real William, nor do I believe Westworld released William’s ego. On the contrary, I think Westworld destroyed it, and his actions afterward were about finding it. Before entering the park, William is an excellent young man, kind and ambitious, even if he doesn\u2019t love his fianc\u00e9e. He is also unwilling to betray her, as evidenced by his help and falling in love with Dolores, the host in the park. However, Dolores “betrays” him because she has her own storyline; when she dies in the park, she will repeatedly remove all her memories and restart her story. But as the player in the park, William throws away his whole self to love her and seek her out, and he finds out everything was just a role play; he starts to help the hosts find themselves but resorts to violent ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, although the following seasons were not as good as I expected, this TV show entertained me for five years; what else can I say, R.I.P Westworld<\/em>?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
