One of the most exciting technologies is Augmented Reality (AR), the integration of virtual experiences with everyday objects and environments. With AR, the users can still see the physical world around them and feel more comfortable with being half immersed as opposed to feeling stuck in the virtual world when wearing VR glasses.

We can find AR in various industries, such as navigation, marketing, healthcare, education, and manufacturing. It improves our lives and will change many areas in our everyday routines. Let’s dig a bit deeper into the topic.

Shopping Experience with AR

To increase sales, it is essential to give a customer a chance to try a product. However, nowadays, most businesses have become E-commerce, so online buyers cannot examine the quality of products properly when shopping online.

This is where AR solves this problem. For Example, the IKEA Place application lets users virtually place furnishings in a room before purchasing them. Customers can try to place their furniture wherever they want, from their bedroom to their garden, so they do not need to go to an IKEA store.

New Era of Healthcare Education

In healthcare education, AR has replaced or recreated real-life situations. In other words, with an AR headset, medical students can practice with virtual objects resembling human bodies and organs without worrying about risking their patients’ health. This technology makes their studies considerably more accessible and more effective since AR apps can show the parts and organs in motion so that the students see how they work.

Gaming and Entertainment

Gaming is one of the most obvious uses of immersive technologies. Augmented Reality allows us to create and design new experiences for things by combining a real world and an imaginary world.

For instance, a game called Pokémon Go is a popular game that makes people more familiar with AR. It offers users a virtual experience and allows them to interact with real places by following GPS and catching hidden monsters in the real world.

Language Translation

Over 7,100 languages are spoken in the world today. Since we cannot learn every language, Google created an easy way to translate called ‘The Google Translate Application’s Word Lens Feature’; with this feature, you can translate text in real-time without an Internet connection using camera mode. From the above, it is clear that technology like Augmented Reality is here to respond to our needs and is increasingly embedded in many aspects of our daily lives.

Written by Cherilyn Sathorn 2022 Cohort These days, various technologies are being developed to respond to human needs and to

Continue readingWays Augmented Reality (AR) will Improve our Life

[89
47
post-2097","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arvrmr","tag-virtual-technology
["GET
